Guns N' Roses were forced to cancel a concert in Rio De Janeiro last night (March 14) after part of the stage collapsed.
The gig, due to take place at the Apoteose Stadium, was blighted by heavy rains and winds.
A photograph published on one of the band's fan sites appears to show significant structural damage to the rear of the stage.
In an statement on Twitter, frontman Axl Rose said: “Fortunately [there] are no fatalities but there are injuries from both our camp and Rio crews the extent of which is not known at present.”
The singer added that “possible rescheduling information” would be released shortly.
Guns N' Roses are in South America for the latest leg of their Chinese Democracy tour, which has so far called in the Far East and Canada.
