Pete Doherty has been banned from driving for 18 months after he pleaded guilty to allowing his manager to drive his car without insurance.
Andrew Boyd was driving the Babyshambles singer's Daimler when he collided with a pedestrian last September.
The incident in Hadleigh, Suffolk, left Chris Corder, 43, in a coma with “catastrophic” brain injuries.
At a court hearing last month, Boyd, 42, admitted to dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident. He was jailed for 12 months.
According to the BBC, Doherty's lawyer entered a guilty plea to magistrates this morning on his behalf. The singer was also fined £500.
Meanwhile, Babyshambles have announced details of three intimate UK dates, which begin later this month.
