Dragonforce have parted ways with singer ZP Theart citing “insurmountable differences of musical opinion” as the reason behind the split.
A statement from their label Roadrunner Records simply reads: “It is with great regret that DragonForce announce a parting of the ways with singer, ZP Theart. This is due to insurmountable differences of musical opinion, but the rest of the band sincerely wish ZP great success with his future projects.”
The remaining members of the group have already started work on their fifth studio album and are looking for a replacement vocalist for ZP Theart.
Guitarist Herman Li said: “We are looking for a powerful, melodic singer to write a new chapter of DragonForce with us."
Anyone looking to audition for the lead vocalist role should simply go to the official Dragonforce website and follow the instructions there.
