A ground floor fire has postponed the beginning Lil' Wayne's prison sentence for a second time.
The fire broke out mid-morning at the Lower Manhatten courthouse the rapper was due to be sentenced at. It is understood that Wayne was in a car on his way to the court when the blaze started.
Lil' Wayne was due to begin his year long prison sentence on firearm charges today (March 2nd) but the fire will set things back again. The jail term was originally going to start two weeks ago but was postponed when Wayne required root canal surgery.
With the courthouse shut for the day defence lawyer Stacey Richman confirmed to the Associated Press that it wasn't clear when Lil' Wayne will finally be incarcerated.
