Goldfrapp frontwoman Alison Goldfrapp has spoken openly about her relationship with film editor Lisa Gunning.
In an interview with The Times, the singer confirmed she was dating Gunning – but stopped shot of describing herself as a lesbian.
“What? Am I saying that? I feel like I’m in an amateur therapy session. No, I am not,” she told the newspaper.
“I think of everything as being about a person and a relationship, and I am in a wonderful relationship with a wonderful person. It just happens to be with a lady.”
Goldfrapp added: “I’ve had some wonderful relationships with men, too. I mean, I’ve had some shit ones — haven’t we all?
“But no, it’s a relationship with a person and that’s how I see my sexuality.”
Goldfrapp's relationship with Gunning, who worked on the recent John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy, came to light when they were pictured together last December.
Meanwhile, Goldfrapp, which also consists of Will Gregory, release their much-anticipated new album 'Head First' later this month.
