Thin Lizzy's 1978 double LP 'Live and Dangerous' has been voted the greatest live album of all time in a new poll.
Listeners of Planet Rock radio voted in their thousands on the poll, with Thin Lizzy's record beating Deep Purple's 1972 classic 'Made In Japan' to the top spot.
Other albums of note in the top 10 are The Who's 'Live At Leeds' at four, Iron Maiden's 'Life and Death' at six and Pink Floyd's 'Pulse' at seven.

- I can't belive that "Tokyo Tapes" and "World Wide Live" from Scorpions aren't include in the list... great mistake.

- Live & Dangerous surely is a damn fine album, but not exactly a live one. Almost everything on it was re-recorded in studio, in fact, the only thing "live" on that album are Brian Downey's drums.
