Doubts have been cast over the future of the All Points West festival in New Jersey.
Promoters AEG Live have yet to confirm 2010 dates or announce any line-up details for the event, which is held at Liberty State Park.
This had lead to speculation that the festival could fail to secure headline acts in time.
“There is no question that our biggest challenge is finding suitable headliners, and it has been more challenging this year than in the past,” AEG's Mark Shulman told the New York Times.
“No final determination of any kind has been made for 2010.”
All Points West has been blighted by fan complaints and bad weather since it started in 2008.
Skip Paige, vice president of Goldenvoice - an AEG affiliate – said the festival may need to be re-structured if it was to return.
Promoters had originally hoped All Points West, which was last year headlined by Jay-Z and Coldplay, could become an East Coast version of Coachella.
