Jamie Lidell has unveiled full details of his third studio album 'Compass'.
Released on May 17 via Warp Records, the album sees the soul-funk-electronica type team up with an array of contributors including Beck, Feist, Gonzales, Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear and Pat Sansone of Wilco.
Billed by his label as Lidell's “most eclectic album yet”, the record was recorded at Beck's Hudson Studios in Los Angeles and in New York.
Lidell said of 'Compass': "I wrote every song in a month. It's been an emotional couple of years, so I tapped into what I wanted to say and started writing. There was a lot to draw on."
Warp have confirmed that Lidell will hit the road later this year to support the album.
