Pickle Gains Almost 1million 'Fans' In Facebook Battle With Nickelback

We're pretty sure you're all fed up with the 'can this sausage roll get more fans than Cheryl Cole'-esque Facebook groups, but we feel this one is a more than worthy cause.

In protest at the astoundingly abysmal sounds soft-rockers Nickelback spew up, a group has been set up called 'Can this pickle get more fans than Nickleback?'. We'll forgive them for the spelling mistake.

Unlike many other Facebook groups inspired by the sausage roll campaign which ultimately attract fans in their mere hundreds, the pickle group has attracted 913,000 in a little over a week.

Nickelback themselves have 1.4million cloth-eared fans on Facebook.
