Rage Against The Machine will play a free gig in London on June 6, it’s been announced.
Rage Factor, in Finsbury Park, will celebrate the band’s successful Christmas number one bid last year.
Fans need to register for a chance to gain tickets to the event via theragefactor.co.uk.
Registration is open now until midnight on Sunday (February 14). A lottery will then be held from 9am on February 17.
The gig is open to all ages but those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Christmas chart glory
Rage Against The Machine agreed to stage the gig after a Facebook campaign catapulted them to Christmas number one last year.
The group’s early 90s hit ‘Killing In the Name’ sold 502,000 copies, denying X Factor winner Joe McElderry the top spot.
Guitarist Tom Morello described the feat as “historic” and said the group had “toppled the X Factor giant”.
Referring to the free gig, he added: “Well...here we come. June 6, Finsbury Park, the celebration/party/revolution is ON!!"
