Former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr has unveiled his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Starr gave his familiar sign of peace at the ceremony on Monday, which took place for the first time under nightfall.
Starr's induction comes less than a year after Sir Paul McCartney helped unveil a star for their late Beatles bandmate George Harrison.
But Sir Paul was able to attend Starr's unveiling last night due to commitments in England, reports Reuters.
During his acceptance speech, Starr addressed the Beatles as his “brothers”, adding: “They looked out for me, and I looked out for them. We all supported each other.”
The induction coincided with the release of the former Beatles drummer's new album, 'Y Not'.
