Former Oasis star Liam Gallagher has hit out Florence & The Machine saying singer Florence sounds like someone “stood on her foot”.
The 37-year-old also hit out at her flame-coloured hair in the interview with Clint Boon on Xfm.
He ranted: “No, I’m not having someone with ginger hair making music. I’m not going down that road.
"I’m sure she’s a nice girl, but she sounds like someone’s stood on her f*cking foot”.
In the typically outspoken interview, Gallagher added that British music isn't at the level it should be.
“People are far off being the best band in England or the best band in the world,” he complained. “There’s some good bands out there but there’s no one claiming that mantle”.
