A spokesperson for Johnny Depp has confirmed the actor is making a documentary about Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards.
Serbian magazine Politika reported earlier this week that Depp was due to start work on the documentary next week.
It also said Depp's editor was already working through archive footage of the guitarist.
A rep for the Pirates of the Caribbean star has now confirmed the report in trade publication Variety.
Depp and Richards have been friends for more than a decade and starred alongside each other's in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.
Richards is also currently working on his memoirs, which were last scheduled to be released sometime in 2010.
