Italian footballing legend Paolo Maldini has praised Liam Gallagher's clothing line Pretty Green after investing in the company.
The former AC Milan icon, who hang up his boots at the end of last season aged 40, says he has pumped money into Pretty Green because he believes Liam is a “style icon.”
"I won't just invest in anything,” he explained to The Sun. “But if there's an opportunity with the right people then I'm always interested.
"Liam has been a style icon for years and he is a distinctive kind of guy as well. Icons in sport or music always influence fashion, you only need to look at David Beckham to see that."
