Michael Jackson’s doctor Conrad Murray is to be charged in connection with his death, it’s been reported.
Unconfirmed US media reports claim Dr Murray is expected to surrender to authorities in Los Angeles on Wednesday (February 2).
According to TMZ, Dr Murray faces a charge of involuntary manslaughter.
"Dr Murray is in Los Angeles for a dual purpose - on family business and to be available for law enforcement," his spokeswoman told the Associated Press.
"We're trying to be as cooperative as we can."
Jackson suffered a cardiac arrest at his rented home in Los Angeles on June 25.
In August, the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office ruled his death as homicide "due to lethal levels of propofol".
Dr Murray, who was acting as the singer’s physician ahead of his planned comeback gigs, has denied any criminal wrongdoing.
