Lily Allen Promises 'Exciting Stuff' As She Rejoins Twitter

Lily Allen has promised to share some “exciting stuff” with her fans in her first post since rejoining Twitter.

The singer returned to the social networking website this morning – just months after giving up internet technology for good.

Allen, who has been on tour in Australia, told her followers: “Hello, I'm back.

“Just got back from Aus, and I had a wonderful time. Setting up my new office in London, got some really exciting stuff to share with you.

“So watch this space x xx x.”

The singer went on to tell her fans that she was also hitting the gym in a bid to shed some festive pounds.

“For now though, i'm off to the gym. Went to india over xmas,and the clarified butter has made its way from my tummy to my thighs. Eeuuggh.”

In October, Allen branded herself a "neo-luddite” when she explained her reasons for leaving Twitter and her MySpace site.

She also revealed that she wanted to launch a record label and open up a fashion store.
