Michael Jackson's brother Randy has claimed his family weren't invited to the Grammy Awards, where the late singer was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement prize.
Michael's two eldest children, Prince, 12, and Paris, 11, collected the award on his behalf at the event in Los Angeles on Sunday.
A 3D video tribute, which was originally due to be screened at the singer's ill-fated comeback gigs, was also shown.
In a post on Twitter, Randy said he was “so proud” that his brother had been recognised.
But he went on to claim that his family, including his fellow brothers, hadn't received an invite to the ceremony.
“So proud, my brother being honored 2nite w/the Lifetime Achievement Award,” he wrote.
“My family would love to be there but truth is, we weren't invited.”
In a later post, he added: “Do u want more truth? Let me be clear, when I said "My family" I meant my brothers, sisters & parents.”
Michael's children spoke for only the second time in public at the ceremony to thank his fans for “always” being there for him.
