Courtney Love's former Hole bandmate Melissa Auf Der Maur says she is both “surprised” and “disappointed” with Love's decision to tour without her.
The Canadian bassist was a member of Hole from 1994 to 1999 and admitted she was shocked to hear that Love had decided to hit the road with Hole this year without any former members of the group - including co-founder Eric Erlandson.
Auf Der Maur told Spinner: "I want to make it clear that I have nothing to do with this series of concerts.
"Honestly, I'm a little surprised by this turn of events. I am disappointed that they are going to jeopardise a real Hole reunion, which I think would be great for fans and fun for us, the band."
She continued: "(Courtney is) really is jeopardising the Hole reunion, which is not impossible, but it will be if this continues."
Courtney Love's new incarnation of Hole play London's Shepherds Bush Empire on February 17.
