Comedian, radio presenter and friend of Radiohead, Adam Buxton, has hit out at the Stereophonics for berating his elderly father back in the late '90s.
The 40-year-old was speaking about his TV series 'The Adam & Joe Show' where his dad Nigel Buxton (aka Baaad Dad) interviewed the Welsh outfit only to get a hostile reaction.
Asked if he had any musical pet hates by Metro, Buxton said: “I never miss a chance to bad mouth the Stereophonics. We got my dad to interview them at V97 and Kelly Jones took the piss out of him.
“It isn’t difficult to take the piss out of a confused, posh, 83-year-old man and they didn’t do it in a funny way either. Their music is also incredibly boring.”
On the show Baaad Dad reviewed music videos by bands he knew nothing about and on a trip to the Tribal Gathering festival tried cannabis for the first time.
