of Montreal have confirmed that their new album will feature a guest cameo from Beyonce's younger sister Solange Knowles.
The Athens, Georgia outfit recently expressed their desire to work with Beyonce herself after she was introduced to them by Solange, but it seems that collaboration will have to wait for now.
Flamboyant of Montreal singer Kevin Barnes says the record will either go by the title of 'False Priest' or 'The Controller Sphere' and is due for release in late summer / early autumn.
He explained that the record will be much funkier than their previous effort 'Skeletal Lamping', saying: "We're going to try to do something closer to the kind of bands that Curtis Mayfield or Stevie Wonder had in the '70s."
R n' B star Janelle Monae has also been drafted in for the record, while Kanye West collaborator Jon Brion will be on production duties.
