Hard Fi have revealed that they were recently forced to play their gigs with a replacement bassist after band member Kai was refused entry to the US.
The new Staines massive were forced to travel without the base player because of a previous drugs conviction. Front man Richard Archer told the Daily Star: “He was bored at the Feltham Megabowl, so decided to liven things up with a few lines.”
“The law turned up and instead of discarding it he tried sneaking it out and got rumbled.” He added. It is not permitted for people with certain criminal convictions to enter the states.
Although it never seems to stop other higher profile artists from getting in.
