The as yet untitled documentary charts his release from prison in 2003 after serving a sentence for drug possession and escaping from a rehabilitation centre.
Hip Hop Mogul/Producer Damon Dash has said he was initially reluctant to release the album on ODB’s last work, but is pleased with the end product. Fans will get the chance to the song ‘Dirty Dirty’ which will be a B-side to a forthcoming single release.
In other ODB news Allhiphop.com reports that his widow, Icelene Jones, has kept a DNA sample of the late rapper as proof he is the father of her children. She is currently involved in a battle for control of the stars estate.
The estate is currently controlled by ODB’s mother and manager Jarred Weisfeld. Jones has said that neither she nor her children are set to receive any money form the release of ‘A Son Unique’. ODB is believed to have fathered at least 13 children which has resulted in several claims to his estate.
