Liam Gallagher: 'Noel Is A F*cking Fake'

Oasis star Liam Gallagher has accused his brother and former bandmate Noel of being a “****ing fake” after he walked out of the group.

The guitarist quit the Manchester band in August, saying the situation had become “intolerable” and forced him to “seek pastures new”.

Liam compared his brother to former Manchester City manager Kevin Keegan, who quit the club in 2005 at a peak in their history.

"You don't have 18 years of giving it all this, and then wash your hands of it and start going out with Russell Brand, and all these new pals,” the singer told the Evening Standard.

“I think he's done a Keegan."

Liam, who is recording a new album with the remaining members of Oasis, also insisted that his brother's departure “wasn't a big thing for me”.

“I've had bigger arguments with me toenails, you know what I mean?” he said.

"I think he just wanted out. He'd had enough of this lad thing and wanted something new, and it's not having a dig at him, but I just think he's sort of turned himself into a ****ing fake."

As previously reported on Gigwise, Noel said recently that he was taking time out before starting work on a solo album.
