Goldfrapp have announced details of their fifth studio album.
Titled 'Head First', the record is released through Mute Records on March 22 and is preceded by the single 'Rocket' two weeks earlier.
The follow-up to 2008's 'Seventh Tree' was recorded in Bath and London throughout this year and is written and produced entirely by Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory.
Their label Mute have described it as “a speedy rush of synth optimism, euphoria, fantasy and romance with life affirming lyrics and stellar production.”
The duo are also planning a UK tour to follow the record's release. More details will be confirmed soon.
