Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis has criticised the celebrities who attend Glastonbury and don't get involved with the main action.
Dubbing them the 'Kate Moss brigade', Eavis said: “We're flattered that they want to come. But what we do out on the site is not what happens backstage. They don't get out there, do they, all these people?”
In the interview with The Guardian, Eavis was asked about the festivals that Glastonbury has inspired.
He quipped: “Latitude has copied what we do here really. People do imitate, don't they? I don't mind. There is plenty of scope.”
U2 are the only confirmed band for the 40th anniversary of Glastonbury Festival next June.
