White Stripes star Jack White has recorded a special guest appearance on Smokes Fairies new single.
The AA-side, 'Gastown' and 'The River Song', will be available on 7” vinyl and digital download from December 7.
The London duo – Jessica Davies and Katherine Blamire – caught White's attention after meeting him in a London bar in October.
The musician then invited the band to support The Dead Weather in the capital, before flying them to Nashville to record the seven inch.
As well as appearing on the single, White has also produced the track and will release it via his record label, Third Man Records.
'Gastown' also features bass from White's Raconteurs and Dead Weather band mate Jack Lawrence.
