The 1968 classic, which featured on the Jimi Hendrix Experience's album 'Electric Ladyland', came out ahead of Guns N' Roses' 'Sweet Child O' Mine' in the poll conducted by Music Radar.

Led Zeppelin's 'Whole Lotta Love', Deep Purple's 'Smoke On The Water' and Derek and the Dominos' 'Layla' completed the top five respectively.

AC/DC, Metallica, Nirvana The Beatles and The Rolling Stones all featured in the top ten.

Elsewhere, Muse's 'Plug in Baby' featured at number 11 and The White Stripes' 'Seven Nation Army' at 15.
