Coldplay's Jonny Buckland booked an X Factor reject to play at his wedding last weekend, it has been revealed.
Instead of drafting in one of Coldplay's high profile friends, the guitarist paid Daniel Pearce to perform at his wedding to long term partner Chloe in London on Saturday.
Pearce didn't even make the final 12 of The X Factor and was in the boy band 'Pop Stars: The Rivals' flop One True Voice.
A source tells The Sun: "It was a shock when we saw who was doing the music.
"Daniel was really good though. He had everyone up dancing. It was a great day. Jonny said he'd booked the band but had no idea who would be fronting it."
