Rolf Harris has confirmed that he has teamed up with Status Quo's Rick Parfitt to record a Christmas single.
The song, titled 'Christmas In The Sun', is taken from the compilation album 'It's Christmas Time' and is released on December 7.
79-year-old Rolf said of Status Quo: "They came up with musical surprises and guitar rhythms that sent shivers up and down my spine.
"These guys have given me everything I wanted - a positive, hard-driving sound, lively and bouncing with good times, laughter and tons of fun."
Rick Parfitt was equally complimentary about his collaborator, adding: "Forget Rock 'n' Roll, this is Rick 'n' Rolf. This is a great track that we will be playing for years to come."
Harris scored a Christmas number one 40 years ago with 'Two Little Boys'.
