Amy Winehouse was hospitalised last night (November 15) after falling ill at her home in North London, it's been reported.
The singer was apparently advised by a doctor to enter The London Clinic following a mix-up with her medication.
It has been reported that cold medicine Winehouse had taken had clashed with an existing prescription.
“Amy took over-the-counter stuff for a cold but it didn't agree with medication she takes for her on-going recovery,” a source told the Daily Mirror.
"A doctor came to the house and advised her to go the hospital to make sure she was all right.”
The unnamed source added that Winehouse was due to spend a night in hospital.
The singer is currently recording her third album, which is due out next year.
