Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced that they will perform on January 29 next year in a concert to pay tribute to Neil Young.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, MusiCares has awarded Neil Young the Person Of The Year Award.
Previous winners include Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder and Brian Wilson.
The concert will see bands performing tributes to Young including Wilco and Norah Jones.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Chad Smith recently revealed that the band are currently working on new material.
