Lily Allen took her grandfather along to the BBC Radio 1 studios in Maida Vale this afternoon.
The singer was escorted into the building by her granddad, who was wearing a remembrance poppy.
Allen is appearing on the radio station to promote her performance at the BBC's Children In Need gig at the Royal Albert Hall on Thursday.
Other performers at tomorrow's concert, including Muse and Robbie Williams, were also spotted at Maida Vale earlier.
Williams is expected to reunite with former band Take That at the gig, which has been organised by Gary Barlow.
