Cheryl Cole is to duet with Snow Patrol at the Children In Need gig at the Royal Albert Hall tomorrow night.
The announcement follows the news that Robbie Williams is set to reunite with Take That at the charity extravaganza along with a sixth group member Sir Paul McCartney.
Breaking the news about the collaboration with the X Factor judge, Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol told Spinner.com: "Everyone doing that gig has to duet with someone from the gig. Everyone gets a partner, it was like getting a partner at school. We got the prettiest girl in the class.
"People have raised an eyebrow now and again when we've mentioned we're doing it with Cheryl Cole but I think it's going to be a really interesting experience."
Former X Factor winner Leona Lewis, who is also singing live tomorrow, shot to number one in 2008 with a cover of Snow Patrol's anthem 'Run'.
Also performing at Gary Barlow curated Children In Need show are Muse, Lily Allen, Dizzee Rascal and Dame Shirley Bassey.
