Liam Gallagher: 'John And Edward Are More Annoying Than Noel'

Liam Gallagher says he finds X Factor stars John and Edward even more annoying than his own brother, Noel.

The former Oasis singer has launched a vicious attack against the 18-year-old Irish twins, who are favourites to win the reality TV show.

Gallagher said the brothers – dubbed Jedward – were irritating and raised questions about the current state of British music.

"I know all about annoying ****ing brothers. But nobody comes close to them,” the singer told the Daily Mirror.

“How do you not smack them? What the **** is happening to British music?

"And what are those things on their heads?"

John and Edward were controversially saved by the public vote on Saturday's edition of The X Factor.

The pair have entertained the public with energetic dance routines despite ongoing questions over whether they can sing.
