Amy Winehouse's dad Mitch is recording his own album of retro swing, he has confirmed.
The 58-year-old taxi driver's record will largely consist of Frank Sinatra covers alongside his own material.
Mitch explained: "It's a Sinatra-ish album. There will be six covers of Sinatra."
Very modest, Mitch believes that Amy inherited her singing talents from her upbringing, adding to The Sun: "We were always singing in the house."
As well as a music career, Mitch has recently dabbled in television recording a show for online TV channel Liv called Showbiz Rant where he interviews Z-list celebrities in the back of his taxi.
Mitch is also rumoured to be one of the 'celebs' appearing on the next series of 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!' later this month.
