Noel Gallagher: 'I'm Not Doing A Solo Album'

Noel Gallagher has revealed he's taking an extended hiatus instead of writing and recording a solo album.

The former Oasis man said last month that he was looking forward to bringing out his own music, but admits he's too busy “bumming around” watching Coronation Street.

He told the Daily Star: “I’m not doing a solo album as I’m taking time off.

“I’m enjoying bumming around watching Coronation Street. I much prefer it to EastEnders. That show is too depressing for me.”

Gallagher revealed yesterday that he plans to leave London, where he has lived for over a decade, for his native Manchester as the capital has “lost its spark.”
