U2 are to play a show at Brandenburg Gate next month to mark the 20th anniversary of the falling of the Berlin Wall.
The Irish band's special gig in the German capital comes just four days before the official 20th anniversary of the wall's demolition.
The show will also be beamed into the MTV European Music Awards ceremony at Berlin's O2 Arena on the same night.
U2's manager Paul McGuiness enthused: "It'll be an exciting spot to be in, 20 years almost to the day since the wall came down. Should be fun."
Tickets for the Brandenburg gate show are only available via MTV and the U2 website.
The MTV Europe Music Awards is once again being hosted by Katy Perry and features live performances from Leona Lewis, Tokio Hotel and Green Day.
