Jay-Z and Alicia Keys will perform at the New York Yankees new baseball stadium on Wednesday.
The pair will sing the rapper's new single and ode to the city 'Empire State Of Mind'.
The occasion will also mark game one of the World Series between the Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies.
In an interview with MTV, Jay-Z said: "I'm beyond excited about it, and on top of that, it's a New York record.
“It's a record that pays homage to New York. The timing of that couldn't be better.”
Meanwhile, the video for 'Empire State Of Mind', which was shot recently in New York, is due to be debuted later this week.
The rapper is due to head to the UK next month to perform a one-off show at Alexandra Palace in London.
