Morrissey has thanked fans for their support after collapsing on stage during a gig in Swindon.
The former Smiths star fell to the floor one song into his set at Oasis Leisure Centre on Saturday (October 24).
The 50-year-old was taken by ambulance to the nearby Great Western Hospital.
A statement on his website said: “Morrissey is in stable condition after his collapse in Swindon Saturday night.
“Thanks go out to all his well wishers, more information will be posted as soon as it is available.”
The incident comes in a year that has seen Morrissey cancel a string of gigs due to illness.
He is currently on a world tour and is scheduled to perform a number of UK dates this month before travelling to Europe.
