Chris Brown has revealed he spends every second regretting his violent attack on former girlfriend Rihanna.
The US R&B star pleaded guilty in June to assaulting the singer and was given five years' probation.
In an interview on US radio station Hot 97, Brown again expressed his sadness over the incident in February.
He said: “People make mistakes all the time. I'm learning from my mistakes everyday and I regret it every second."
The singer, who is currently preparing to launch his comeback with a new album, also revealed that Will Smith had offered him advice after the attack.
"As a young black man myself, I need older black male role models to step in and kind of mould me - not people bashing me, 'cause that's not how you learn from mistakes," he said.
Brown refused to speak in detail about the incident in February, which reportedly left Rihanna with bruising to her face.
Meanwhile, Rihanna revealed this week that she plans to release a new album, entitled 'Rated R', in November.
Brown will also embark on a US tour in November, with a portion of ticket sales going to a domestic-violence intervention organisation.
