Kanye West was killed off on Twitter yesterday in a hoax that had America hooked.
'RIP Kanye West' is still the top trending topic on the micro-blogging site hours after someone made up an unscrupulous rumour that the rapper had been killed in a car crash.
His alleged 'death' was also the top Google search in the USA during the early hours of this morning.
For your information, Kanye ain't dead and he has even been posting on his blog since the rumour emerged.
Kanye's girlfriend Amber Rose backed this up, writing on Twitter: "This 'RIP KanyeWest' topic is not funny and its NOT TRUE! He has people like myself and his family that love him very much."
The power of the internet eh?
