A tuft of Elvis Presley's quiff has sold for $15,000 at a Chicago auction.
The clump of hair is believed to originate from 1958 when the music icon had his hair shorn when he joined the army.
It was one of over 200 Elvis items that went under the hammer including rare records, sweat-stained garments and bathrobes.
The items once belonged to Elvis collector and close friend of The King Gary Pepper who died from cerebral palsy in 1980.
A percentage of the profits from the Leslie Hindman auction house sale will go to cerebral palsy charities.
