Taylor Swift will have the opportunity to hit back at Kanye West when she hosts Saturday Night Live next month.
The rapper sparked controversy in September when he interrupted the singer's acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Swift, 19, has since accepted an apology from West, whose reaction saw him labelled a "jackass" by Barack Obama.
The singer said it was “mind blowing” to be given the opportunity to host the show and revealed she was already planning her skits.
"I've been thinking about skit ideas for a long time," she told the Associated Press.
"There are definitely some hilarious things that have happened to me over the past couple of months that I think will be pretty substantial skits."
Regarded as one of the most high profile show's on US TV, SNL's previous guest hosts have included Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson.
