Extravagant vocalist of The Darkness Justin Hawkins has revealed that the rock band won't be performing any live shows in the near future.
The band are concentrating all their efforts on the follow up to the massively successful debut record 'Permission To Land'. Hawkins told the BBC: "We won't be doing any festivals. Things have changed now. A lot of the relentless touring was with a view to making people aware of us when they wouldn't have heard us on the radio. It's a very different game when you are in our position. There's a feverish anticipation. We're concentrating on the album, we're not going to do any live stuff until it's out, then we'll see."
The flambouyant front man also spelled out his desire to perform at the new national stadium being build in London: "I'm determined to play Wembley stadium, when it reopens, but beyond that - it's all about the money. Ha ha!"
