The first act has been confirmed for Glastonbury 2010 - Andy Williams who will be a sprightly 82-years-old next June.
The 'Moon River' crooner revealed that he was personally invited by Michael Eavis to play at Glastonbury Festival's 40th anniversary.
Williams made the revelation at the Cheltenham Literature Festival over the weekend where he was signing copies of his autobiography, reports The Sun.
It is widely thought that he will be performing the traditional music legends' Sunday afternoon slot.
The Rolling Stones are bookmaker's favourites to headline Glastonbury, with Muse and Radiohead also amongst the prospective names.
