Paramore have knocked Madonna off the top of the UK album chart with their third long-player 'brand new eyes.'
The Tennessee emo outfit ousted Madge's greatest hits collection after just one week, scoring their first ever UK number one in the process.
Their previous effort 'Riot!' only peaked at number 24 in Britain but went on to achieve Gold status.
Other new album entries of note today came from Newton Faulkner's 'Rebuilt By Humans' at three, Ian Brown's 'My Way' at eight, Paloma Faith's 'Do You Want The Truth Or Something' at 14 and Alice In Chains' 'Black Gives Way To Blue' at 19th spot.
Muse, Dizzee Rascal and Jay-Z all slipped down the chart with their latest albums, dropping to 5, 6 and 9 respectively.
Paramore embark on a seven-date UK arena tour on December 10, three shows of which are already sold out.
