Kanye West has returned to the stage for the first time since his outburst at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month.
The rapper joined fellow hip-hop star Common as a surprise guest during a benefit show in Los Angeles on Saturday.
West performed three songs at the event, including 'Good Life' from his 2007 album 'Graduation'.

It was the first time West had performed in public since he interrupted Swift's acceptance speech at the VMAs.
The rapper was ridiculed by his peers for the outburst and claimed during an interview with Jay Leno that he planned to take “time off”.
However, West has since confirmed details of a co-headlining US tour with Lady GaGa, which is due to get under way in November.
