New Michael Jackson Album And Single Out In October

A new Michael Jackson song, entitled 'This Is It', is to be released on October 12, it's been announced.

The single, which includes vocals from Jackson's brothers, will also feature on an two-disc album of the same name, which is due out on October 28.

The album is connected to the forthcoming Michael Jackson film documentary, This Is It.

Disc one will include original versions of Jackson's biggest hits, as well as two different versions of the new single.
 
Disc two, meanwhile, features previously unreleased versions of the singer's songs and an unheard spoken word poem entitled Planet Earth.

The This Is It movie is due to go on general release for two weeks from October 28.

Directed by choreographer Kenny Ortega, the film has been created from over 100 hours of behind-the-scenes footage of Jackson as he rehearsed for his planned London comeback shows.

The singer died on June 25 - just two weeks before his comeback was due to begin.
