Taylor Swift has said Kanye West telephoned her to apologise for interrupting her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.
The rapper called Swift shortly after she appeared on US TV show The View yesterday and revealed he had yet to say sorry.
"Kanye did call me, and he was very sincere in his apology, and I accepted that apology," Swift told ABC News Radio later.
The country singer added that the support she had received from fans and musicians had “got me to the place where I could accept that apology”.
During her appearance on The View, Swift said she initially thought it was “cool” when West appeared on stage at Radio City Music Hall.
“Oh, Kanye West is here! Cool haircut! What are you doing there? And then, ouch. And then, I guess I'm not going to thank the fans',” she said.
West grabbed Swift's microphone to complain that she had won the award for Best Female Video over Beyonce.
As previously reported on Gigwise, the rapper apologised for interrupting the singer during an appearance on The Jay Leno Show on Monday night.
