Lily Allen has revealed she is taking time away from her music career to star in a new play.
Speaking backstage at Bestival on Saturday, Lily told 3am.co.uk: "I'm not going to record and tour again for quite a while."
Instead Lily will focus her attention on her staring role in Neil LaBute's 'Reasons To Be Pretty', which she described as being about "themes close to my heart, about the really damaging cult of beauty among young girls".
Blaming the strain on her voice and health for temporarily leaving music behind Lily went on to say how taking the lead in 'Reasons To Be Pretty' was both "exciting" and "terrifying" as well as claiming to be having RADA training ahead of her stage debut.
